Life after Death
For centuries death symbolised the end of life, a change from the living to the dead. Death has always been associated with sorrow, People celebrate life, the birth of anything new - a child, a relationship, an event, a journey. The death of anything is never a moment to rejoice. Never have we been known to associate satisfaction with loss. There is always a sort of craving, a want, an urge, to finish unfinished business.
There is always mystery surrounding the unknown, a passing thought must definitely have occurred to us. So this brings me to the oft asked question, to which there isn’t an answer – Is there life after death? Where does one go after one dies?
What is life? Is it a perception? Is it a mirage? Does it exist? Can we feel it? What would we feel if it could be felt? What are the feelings associated with being alive? These questions cannot be answered in concrete words. They are to be felt, and feelings can never be described to the ultimate meaning.
I feel death is not the end of life. In fact it is the beginning to a new life – “Life after death”. It is a cycle, We live this life as humans - with a body, mind and soul. We think, speak, procreate and live. Then we die, only to begin a new life. Now what form could we take? The unseeable, the unfeelable, or the unthinkable? It is intriguing to think what could exist in the unexistable world. Would we think the same thoughts, could we feel the same things, could we advance as we have in this life? How would “Life after Death” end? Can we die in this “life” too? If we would, I think we would be born in the present life again! Isnt that a thought!!
Or how about this? We die and then we inhabit a whole different planet. What would life be on Saturn or Jupiter? And all those aliens that are supposedly out in space, they may be a long lost relative! Imagine living on the moon! The shadow that is visible on a full moon night, may be someone we know, or rather knew. Isn’t that a thought!
However we may try to explain this concept, it is inexplicable, and it can be answered by only those who may have come back from the dead, quite literally, until then the question is open to debate.. whether infact is there life after death....
